Children can enjoy healthy teeth throughout their lives. From the moment your child's first tooth erupts, it is important to clean it properly and have it checked regularly by the dentist. In our practice dentist Denise Goedhart - Schutte is specially trained in treating (young) children. She takes the time for your child and reassures him/her. In this way your child playfully becomes familiar with the dentist.
Good to know: the basic insurance reimburses dental checkups and care until the age of 18 (with the exception of orthodontics, among others). So children up to age 18 can go to the dentist for free!
Experienced dental hygienists in Barendrecht
There are numerous bacteria in the mouth that can cause various problems, such as tooth decay and inflammation of the gums. This is why we place great importance on prevention and oral hygiene. Our oral hygiene team consists of experienced dental hygienists and (paro)prevention assistants. Your dentist regularly assesses the condition of your gums and, if necessary, recommends treatment by our oral hygiene team. In this way, we work together to maintain a healthy mouth and gums.
Emergency assistance
- During our business hours you can call the practice at emergency, such as a serious dental injury or accident: 0180 - 610 506. We will try to help you the same day.
- Outside our business hours, please call the emergency department Dental365: 085 - 105 17 60, located in Rotterdam and Dordrecht. In case of an accident, post-bleeding or other acute complaint, you can then contact the dentist on duty. The emergency department is available by phone in the evening, at night and at weekends, as well as on generally recognized holidays.
Please note that it is mandatory to bring valid identification and your health care card. Please also note that emergency treatment must be paid in cash/by pin.
Canceling your appointment
To cancel your appointment, we ask that you cancel the appointment by phone no later than 24 hours in advance. This way we may be able to help another patient and not have to charge you.
